I meet a lot of families that travel to the area for vacation, but every now and then I get to meet a local Florida family that loves the beach as much as I do. The beach is the perfect back-drop to capture family memories at any age, even at 5 weeks old! The smell of the salty air and sounds of the waves crashing is so peaceful, and this little guy did not want to miss a moment he was so chill and alert. I love to capture the tiny details of baby’s fingers and toes. Using the parent’s hand to show the teeny size. It's so important to freeze those baby features because they change in a flash. I always strive to get a good variety of "smile at the camera" photos as well as those lifestyle candid shots of just being in the moment. The interactions and connections between parents and their children are what I love to capture. The snuggles and kisses, the tickles and play and even the moments of comfort.
I shoot at this particular location very often because I love the variety it provides. The beach is more than just the ocean, we have golden sand dunes, Florida sea grape, high-grass and shore rocks. Pair those with the gorgeous Florida sunset and a beautiful family and you’ve got an amazing gallery of timeless photos to display and cherish forever!
