Every day, every part of our world tells a story. photos bring back memories of not just the big moments, but they capture the little in-between moments that we often forget.

If you are a busy mom or dad of young children and your an aspiring photographer or graphic designer, OR you are just a creative soul and love to read happy and inspiring stories about family than I hope you can benefit as I share my personal and professional experiences.
“All our dreams can come true if you have the courage to pursue them.” - Walt Disney
I was exposed to photography from an early age. My dad dabbled in wedding photography and had his own dark room in the attic of my grandmothers house. Did I mention I lived next-door to my grand-parents growing up? It was an experience I will never forget and I feel privileged to have grown up in such a loving environment where family was number one priority. I look back at photos my dad took of me and my sister as toddlers and of my family that have since passed on, we are so lucky to have those glimpses of history with us forever. So easily we can forget those little moments. The first photo I ever shot was taken at Crocheron Park in Bayside, New York where I grew up. I used my dad's Vintage Yashica 120/220 roll film camera, I was 3 years old, and that’s my dad!
Pursuing my Dream
In college I took a photography elective while receiving my communication arts degree in graphic design. Back then we used film and I practiced on my dads 35mm Pentax and learned how to develop my own photos in a darkroom. Now we are in the digital age and have the luxury of endless creative possibilities. After college I worked in the graphic design field for over 18 years. Imagery, color and composition is what I know and love. I got back into photography specifically in 2009 after my oldest son was born. I loved taking pictures of him and capturing memories of him growing up. My love of photography continued to develop while taking photos of my growing family and my friends and their families. I continue to educate myself in the field of photography through workshops, photography networks and I most recently graduated from New York Institute of Photography with a certificate in Professional Photography.
When I'm not working I love to be crafty and create DIY projects or simply relax on the beach with a book. I also enjoy spending an evening out with my husband and taking family outings to Disney World when possible. I am blessed with loved ones that support my dreams and I have the amazing opportunity to be home with my children while pursuing a business doing what I love!
